Built on the waqf of Gazi Husrev-beg, the Administrative Building of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina has more than 5,000 square meters, ie dozens of offices, an amphitheater, meeting rooms, but also beautiful terraces overlooking Baščaršija.

After more than a hundred years, the Islamic Community has finally received a permanent seat that befits this religious community, and Sarajevo a beautiful architectural edifice in the old part of the city.

The project was done by academician Zlatko Ugljen and his associate Husein Dropić, and the basic idea of Ugljen's architectural work is reflected in seven domes, as a reflection of the seven heavenly vaults, which is mentioned in several places in the Holy Qur'an.
