TEKKE IN BLAGAJ ON THE RIVER BUNA / ZIKR
Every year in the month of May, for decades, the Spring of the Buna becomes the spiritual center of Bosnian Muslims, who gather there during the religious and cultural event "Days of Mevlud and Zikr".
The manifestation "Days of Mevlud and Zikr" with its contents reveals the richness of culture, spirit, and creativity of Bosnian Muslims, as well as the search for the knowledge of God.
In the unusual ambience of the Blagaj tekke, imams, dervishes and sheikhs teach traditional majlis zikr, the night before the mevlud. Muslims from all over the world, with dervishes, glorify and remember God, until late at night...
